The main theme of the conference was Earth and Environmental Stewardship. There were talks on the Church’s teaching on the subject from ancient times to the present as well as scientific talks on a wide range of environmental topics, including pollution, water, soil, resource management, ecosystem restoration, climate, and biodiversity.
The fifth annual conference of the Society of Catholic Scientists was held on June 3-5, 2022 at Mundelein Seminary near Chicago.
