Maureen Condic is Associate Professor of Neurobiology at the University of Utah with an adjunct appointment in Pediatrics and teaches Embryology in the Medical School. (Ph.D., 1989, UC Berkeley) Her research focuses on the role of stem cells in development and regeneration and has been recognized by both the Basil O’Connor and the McKnight awards. She is currently a member of Pontifical Academy for Life, and in 2018 was appointed to the (U.S.) National Science Board. Dr. Condic is co-author of Human Embryos, Human Beings: A Scientific and Philosophical Approach (CUA Press, 2018) and author of Untangling Twinning (2019).
