Lecture on March 6, 2024, at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN.

March 6 at 5:30 pm

There will be a public lecture on Wednesday, March 6, at 5:30pm at St Thomas Aquinas Church near Purdue University (535 W State Street, West Lafayette).  The title of the lecture will be “Father Lemaître: The Catholic priest who discovered the Big Bang.”  The speaker will be Prof. Jonathan Lunine of Cornell University.

There will be a reception downstairs before the lecture, at 4:30pm.

The event is hosted by the Purdue Chapter of the Society of Catholic Scientists, and co-sponsored by the Thomas Aquinas Foundation, Purdue’s Religious Studies Program, and St. Thomas Aquinas Parish.
