Gold Mass

Gold Mass on Nov 5 and Debate on Nov 7, 2025, at University of Mary, Bismarck, ND.

November 5 at 10:30 am

There will be a Gold Mass on Wednesday, Nov 5, 2025, at 10:00am in Our Lady of the Annunciation Chapel on the campus of the University of Mary.  The Mass will be celebrated by His Excellency David Kagan, Bishop of the Diocese of Bismarck.

There will also be a public debate among members of the SCS on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 10:00am in Butler Hall on the University of Mary campus. The question for debate will be “Is open science a mistake?” A key ethos of science is publishing results for others to build on. This approach has brought us medical benefits and material prosperity, and the threat of nuclear, biological, and AI annihilation. Is openness a good idea?
