2026 St. Albert Initiative on Science and the Catholic Faith on March 13 in San Francisco, CA.

March 13 at 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

March 13, 2026, at 8:45 am – 2:30 pm

The 2025 St. Albert Initiative will be held at Sacred Heart Cathedral Prep School in San Francisco, CA, on Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 8:45 am to 2:30 pm.   (Sign-in at 8:45am. Events start at 9:15am).

The St. Albert Initiative is a half-day program on science and faith for Catholic high school students, teachers, and parents as well as the general public (high school age and above).  It will feature short talks by Catholic scientists and the opportunity to meet, eat with, and ask questions of Catholi scientists in many fields and at various stages of their careers.

Five previous St. Albert Initiatives have been held: in Washington, DC. in November 2021;  in Chicago in February 2022; in Philadelphia in March 2023; in New Orleans in February, 2024, and in Louisville in March 2025.  The response from attendees at all those events, both students and adults, was extremely positive.

Nearly complete Information about the Event can be found HEREincluding its Schedule and Program and brief biographies of the speakers and presenters.

Registration will open soon.

This event is co-sponsored by the McGrath Institute for Church Life and made possible by a generous grant from the John Templeton Foundation.
