Lecture on March 12, 2026, at St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA.

March 12 at 7:00 pm

There will be a lecture on Thursday, March 12, at 7:00pm in the Foundations Room at St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA.  The lecture is lecture entitled Laudato Si’ and the Call to Learn the Language of Creation” and will be given by Sr. Damien Marie Savino, F.S.E., Ph.D.

Sr. Damien Marie Savino is a Franciscan Sister of the Eucharist and recent author of Learning the Language of Creation: Catholic Social Teaching and Integral Ecology (Liturgical Press). Sr. Savino currently serves as the Melchor Visiting Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Earth Sciences at the University of Notre Dame. Previously, she was Dean of Science and Sustainability at Aquinas College (Grand Rapids, MI). She is also a member of the Executive Board of the Society of Catholic Scientists.
