Gold Mass
Gold Mass, Reception and Lecture on November 13, 2025, at Benedictine University in Lisle, IL.
November 13 at 6:00 pm
There will be a Gold Mass on Thursday, Nov. 13, at 6:00 pm in St. Benedict Chapel (Lownik Hall) on the campus of Benedictine University.
This will be followed by a reception and public lecture at 7:00 pm in Kindlon Hall, 5th Floor, by Sr. Ilia Delio (author of Christ in Evolution and founder of the Center for Christogenesis), who will be speaking on “Christianity and Evolution.”
On Friday, Nov. 14, from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm in Goodwin Hall room 411) there will be a Faith & Reason Symposium featuring presentations by Benedictine University faculty, staff, and students.
These events are co-sponsored by the Sister Judith Ann Heble Center for Benedictine Values and the Benedictine University chapter of Society of Catholic Scientists. I’ve attached a flyer in case it is not too late to promote these events more widely.
