Chapter Event

Lecture on April 11, 2025, at Benedictine College in Atchison, KS.

April 11 at 3:00 pm

There will be a Lecture at 3:00pm on Friday, April 11, 2025, on the campus of Benedictine College in the McAlister Board Room on the 4th floor of the Ferrell Academic Center (1020 N 2nd St, Atchison, KS 66002).  The speaker will be Prof. Christopher T. Baglow, who is the Director of the Science and Religion Initiative of the McGrath Institute of Church Life at the University of Notre Dame where he is also a professor in the Theology Department.  Prof. Baglow is also on the Ececutive Board of the Society of Catholic Scientists.  The title of the talk will be “The Human Purpose as the Purpose of the Cosmos.”  

This event is sponsored by the Kansas City-area Chapter of the Society of Catholic Scientists and by the Benedictine College Center for Integral Ecology.
