$1,000 Members-Only Scholarship for Online Science and Catholicism Course

We're pleased to announce an exciting, limited-time membership benefit. The University of St. Thomas Catholic Studies Graduate Program is offering a $1000 scholarship on their online Fall 2019 Science and Catholicism course to the first five members who apply by Monday, August 26.

Here are the details:

  • Fill out a simple “College of Arts and Sciences, Catholic Studies, non-degree” application here no later than Monday, August 26
  • Receive your $1000 scholarship for the Science and Catholicism online course
  • Dive into two millennia of rich cultural expression and intellectual dialogue surrounding the relationship between faith and science
  • Enjoy a convenient learning environment that places a priority on engaging, enriching conversation and spiritual fellowship

This flexible, online, seminar-style course will be taught by Dr. Peter Distelzweig, a Scholar Associate of the Society. Drawing on the two-thousand-year history of Christianity and science, this interdisciplinary course will help participants reflect on the relationship between the natural sciences and the Catholic intellectual, spiritual, and cultural life. The course includes content by Augustine, Aquinas, Lawrence Principe, Fr. Nicanor Austriaco, Stephen M. Barr, and many others. A course description can be found here.

This limited-time discount is available only to members. Additional scholarship money may be available for members who are current graduate student. This course is not open to undergraduate students.
