DESCRIPTION:SCS2023\, the Sixth Annual Conference of the Society of Catholic Scientists \nFor Videos of Talks go to VIDEOS in MENU of this website\, or to the SCS YouTube Channel. \nDate and Venue of SCS2023 \nThe sixth annual conference of the Society of Catholic Scientists (SCS2023) will be held on June 2-4\, 2023 (Friday evening to Sunday early afternoon) on the campus of Seton Hall University in South Orange\, New Jersey.  The university is located on 58 green acres just 14 miles south of New York City.  For travel directions\, see below. \nConference Topics \nThe conference theme is “Critical Issues at the Intersection of Science and Faith.”  This encompasses a wide range of fields and topics.  There will be six invited talks and six contributed talks\, the latter being selected from contributed abstracts. \nPROGRAM AND SCHEDULE \nBIOGRAPHIES OF SPEAKERS \nSpecial Guest Speaker:  Dr. Yoav Vaknin (Hebrew University of Jerusalem\, Paleomagnetic Lab) will speak about the ground-breaking work of the team of physicists and archaeologists\, which he spearheaded\, that last year confirmed the biblical chronology of several ancient battles that had been questioned by scholars. \nSt. Albert Award:  The 2023 St. Albert Award will be given to Anthony Ichiro Sanda. winner of the highest prize in theoretical particle physics awarded by the American Physical Society.
