Gold Mass

Aquinas College (MI) Gold Mass and Lecture on Nov 8.

There will be a Gold Mass at Aquinas College in Grand Rapids. MI, on Tuesday, Nov. 8, at 4:30 PM. Bishop David Walkowiak, Bishop of the Grand Rapids diocese, will be the celebrant for the Mass, which will be held in Our Lady, Seat of Wisdom chapel on the campus of Aquinas College [1700 Fulton Street E, Grand Rapids, MI 49503]. A reception will follow the Mass and will be held in the Albertus Magnus Hall of Science, followed by a Lecture at 6:30 PM, given by Sr. Damien Marie Savino, F.S.E., Ph.D.,  who is Dean of Science and Sustainability at Aquinas College.  The lecture is entitled “Scientists Reading the Book of Creation.”  Sr. Damien Marie Savino gave the keynote address at the 2022 SCS conference in June.

This event is sponsored by Aquinas College, the Michigan Chapter of SCS, and is partially funded by a generous grant from the John Templeton Foundation.
